Functional skills manager at HMP Woodhill, Donna Thirkettle, has been influenced by HIV women, after working with Raksha Malde-Kara.

The northern blonde with working class traits imitated Raksha Malde-Kara’s beauty techniques and style whilst she worked in the prison teaching English, business and marketing. She became excited about the HIV following and used Raksha’s work in media wellbeing without her permission.

Thirkettle is unhappy with her homelife and students have reported her emotional outbursts whilst teaching. She usually arrives at work late and is insecure in her job.

She revealed her career over a ten year period has involved working with prisoners in seclusion and being a dog’s body for the prison education team.
