Raksha Malde-Kara visited the Blue Mosque in Istanbul whilst on a Mediterranean Cruise with the school at age 14.

When Raksha lived in London she visited architectural buildings across the city organised by Open House London.

Plans are currently being backed by London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, and former chancellor, Sadid Javid, for a memorial to honour muslims serving in the British Armed Forces.
