Raksha Malde-Kara’s parents encouraged her to start travelling from a young age – whilst she was at secondary school. She has always been interested in travel and culture.

She taught English in Eastern Europe and in South America during her university years.

Raksha is also known for her journalistic storytelling which was broadcasted on national television by the Royals in 2017 – 2020 for her working class audiences, and for advising the UK government on the risks associated with HIV women after her public sector campaign in 2017.

She became a UK foreign diplomat in 2025. She works as a screenplay writer and media company owner in the US, Australia, and in the Middle East.
