In her younger days, Raksha worked in department stores in ladies fashion at John Lewis (George Henry Lee) in Liverpool and home interiors and Chanel Shoes at Selfridges in London.
She has worked in human resources for a greeting card retail manufacturer, market research for Coca-Cola Enterprises, retail store surplus goods for a catalogue company (including fashion, jewellery & accessories, electrics, and sundries in home interiors), media strategy for Avon Cosmetics and in media relations for Honeywell retail warehouse technology.
Raksha also worked in numerous charity retail shops selling vintage fashion and in retail merchandising. As a PR consultant with Raksha PR, she was a media publicist for Bloomberg fashion news and contributed to the virtual retail strategy for the music app Shazam.
Her fashion and interior design projects were publicly shared by UK retailers in 2018 – 2020 and in 2024 – 2025 when she lived in her working class home during and after her storytelling with the Royals on national television.
Raksha introduced her media brand, Intuitivstory, to the international retail trade in the food and drink sector in Paris in 2014.
